A new css framework has hit the web and it looks really, really, well done. Like a few others, 960 is based on grids and prototyping your designs quickly and easily.

So, this may be simpe question, but if this CSS is GPL’ed, wouldn’t that make your design open source i.e. not able to license/sell it for a price?

I don’t see a method to combine the grid sections vertically, as opposed to horizontally. Something along the lines of a rowspan in tables…
